One of my favorite things about sewing is sharing it with the people I love. I recently spent some time with my mom, Donna, talking through holiday projects and gift ideas for my new Treasured Threadz™ panel, Santa’s Sleigh Ride. In the video, we share inspiring ideas for upcycling thrifted finds, including jean jackets and denim overalls. Try adding patches to sweatshirts, pillows and even gift bags to create festive wearables and home décor for the holidays. For an extra bit of sparkle, I love to use Therm O Web Sparkle Paste to embellish the Santa’s Sleigh Ride designs and add a little holiday shimmer.

It’s the iron I reach for when working on these projects and makes it easy to fuse and press as I create.
