With more than 30 years as a creative entrepreneur, Amy is widely recognized as the founder of Indygo Junction, author of the award-winning Vintage Notions, and a leading voice in preserving the art and history of sewing and needlework. She has built one of the nation’s largest private collections of vintage sewing books, quilts, fashion imagery, and textile ephemera, which continues to inspire her creative work today.
Guided by her signature “Vintage Made Modern™” philosophy, Amy blends historical inspiration with contemporary creativity through sewing patterns, books, online courses, and her newest release, Love You to Pieces: A Gift of Friendship. Through every project, she celebrates the stories stitched into handmade textiles while encouraging a new generation of makers to explore, learn, and carry these timeless creative traditions forward.
