I inherited my German grandmothers button collection. She had all buttons organized in plastic boxes. Easy to use, like the pretty button cards we see on the website and at button booths at quilt shows. We were not allowed to play with or disorganized the buttons. American grandmother let us play with her button collection. I loved making designs with all the buttons but my favorite were the mother of pearl. Fascinating to learn their history.”
